Welcome to Vatland CDJR

For well over 30 years, the Vatland family has been serving Vero Beach and all of Indian River County including Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Sebastian, Palm Bay and Fellsmere FL. Mr. Olaf V. Vatland opened Vatland Oldsmobile in 1970. At that time, it was located at the corner of US 1 and 20th Street in Vero Beach. After Mr. Olaf Vatland’s passing in 1974, his son Robert J. Vatland, took over the dealership and became the youngest Oldsmobile Dealer in the United States.

Under the leadership of Robert Vatland, the dealership saw continued success; and in 1976 Vatland Oldsmobile took on the additions of Pontiac and GMC. Vatland Olds-Pontiac-GMC became the largest dealership in Vero Beach. In the early 1990’s, Vatland grew again with the addition of Honda to the lineup. In March 2007, Vatland officially opened its new and present location at 700 US Hwy 1 Vero Beach, FL. Around the same time, General Motors was experiencing some troubles and wanted to consolidate its franchises. Vatland Pontiac GMC was sold to a local Buick dealer.

Today, the Vatland Honda facility houses a 15 car showroom; a 22 bay service department, with 9000 square feet of parts and over 100,000 different parts; for an overall size of 65,000 square feet of Honda Display and Merchandise; And the New Vatland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store which is now part of the Vatland family is Located at the corner or Olso and US 1 also in Vero Beach.

As the future progresses, the Vatland Family is here to stay, and it’s looking to expand more and offer our customers exceptional service before, during and after the sale of any product purchased through us. Vatland Honda and now Vatland CDJR has been part of the Vero Beach Community for over 30 years.
