• Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection 

When a vehicle enters your blind spot, the system alerts you with a small warning light on the appropriate side mirror. Should you turn on your indicator to change lanes and a vehicle is in your blind spot, an alarm will sound to alert you to a potential crash. 

• Rear Cross Path Detection 

Backing out of a parking space is safer now! Should you back out of a parking space into the path of an oncoming vehicle, this system alerts you to stop.  

• ParkSense Rear Park Assist 

Rear Park Assist does exactly what it sounds like it should do. This system provides audible and visual instructions while parking, even assisting with the steering to navigate you into your desired parking pace. 

Pro-Tech II Package 

The Pro-Tech II Package provides all of the features available in Pro-Tech I, plus:

• Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking 

This system uses audible and visual sensors to alert you to the fact that you’re approaching a vehicle in traffic ahead of you too quickly. If you don’t apply the brake in enough time, the sensors apply the brakes for you before a collision occurs.  

• Advanced Brake Assist

This safety feature applies maximum braking power in emergencies.

• LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with LaneKeep Assist 

This system alerts you should you unintentionally drift from your lane. If no action is taken to correct yourself, the system gently navigates you back into your lane. 

• Auto High-Beam Headlamps 

No more worrying with the incessant off-and-on of your headlights. This simple (but favorite) feature detects oncoming headlamp lights and automatically dims your high-beams. Once the headlamp light is no longer detected, it switches your high beams back on. It doesn’t get much better than that!

• Advanced Pro-Tech II Package 

The Advanced Pro-Tech II package includes all the features from the Pro-Tech II Package, plus Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, and Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers.

While most of these safety features expand on those previously detailed, the Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers are a favorite. A rain sensor detects moisture on the windshield and activates the windshield wipers, giving you one less thing to think about while on the road. Now that is luxury!
